Just what I need!,
After years of teetering on top of a type of kitchen stool with two little steps underneath, I decided that I was of an age when a safe pair of steps were needed. These are just what was required – they give you a great sense of safety because you have something to grasp hold of going up and another hand bar at the top. Good value and arrived promptly. Have already used them to prune the apple trees.

|Step Ladder comparison,
We had previously purchased an aluminium step ladder to replace a broken one. Although the new step ladder is light and eaily handled we found it moves too much and feels unsafe requiring to be held by one person whilst the other is on the ladder. We saw the Safety 916 step ladder advertised in a variety of places and decided to give it a go. Ordering through Amazon as usual everything was efficient and delivered on time. The only caution we have is that although the ladder is very secure and gives confidence in using it is quite heavy to move about. Therefore anyone who is not quite physically strong should beware.

This is an excellent product which is well-designed to be robust and secure, with broad steps and strong safety handrails. The handrails did have to be bent into shape to fit the bolt holes but this was a minor aggravation during assembly. Whereas I was very satisfied with this product, it did take considerably longer to be delivered than expected but perhaps the bank holiday closure around the time of purchase affected things. Overall though, it has been very good value for the price paid.
